North American Bird Strike Conference – Come and meet DeTect, Inc!

“On behalf of both the Bird Strike Association of Canada and Bird Strike Committee- USA, we would like to invite you to attend the biannual North American Bird Strike Conference to be held in the scenic Okanagan Valley of beautiful British Columbia. You will notice the name change of the conference. In acknowledging that for many years now we have not restricted the topics of discussion to bird strikes, the fact that mammals often pose serious risks to aviation and that we have even talk about the impacts of reptiles and amphibians and even invertebrates in these conferences, we have ventured to make the name of the conference reflect our broader scope of discussion and interests. Although birds constitute the majority of the hazards to aviation, we are, in fact, charged with managing the full compliment of aviation risks, thus the new nomenclature. New also will be the layout of the conference.”
